1) Components used.
a. Circuit board.
b. Motor fan (similar to air-con condenser).
c. Transformer (for Malaysian voltage 240 Volt AC step down to 12 Volt DC).
d. Stainless Steel Tank (SUS 304).
e. Magnesium Rod.
2) Operating Principles.
a. Ambient air consists of hot and cold molecules.
b. When the system is activated, a highly efficient heat transfer exchange unit is used to absorb high volumes of heat energy from atmospheric temperature though a suction fan.
c. A high volume of low temperature heat molecules from the ambient surroundings are captured and used to boost water temperatures upwards.
d. The process of heat transfer and heat accumulation continues and heats the stored water inside the hybrid water heater without high power consuming heating elements or electric boosters.
e. During the process, our eco-friendly hybrid system releases cool molecules back into the atmosphere.
3) Heat transfer fluids (inside the copper tubing).
The ‘food grade’ fluids inside the copper tubing is a heat transfer media used to transfer heat from air to water water.
4) Maintenance guidelines.
The system’s magnesium rod will need to be changed on average every 3 years (The cost per rod is approximately USD100.).
5) Performance under different environmental conditions.
Absorbing heat from ambient air, the Seers hybrid system can used in any weather and climate, even in rainy or cold weather conditions.
